just when I thought I might be pleased, the elevator was out of service, forcing me to haul my bags up to the second floor. the stale musty smell in the hallways really set the tone for my 'luxurious' stay. I almost considered a good review, but then there was no complimentary gesture for my troubles!

The King Room with Sofa Bed offered spacious comfort, complete with a microwave and fridge for late-night snacks. Access to various local dining options made it easy to find a spot for dinner, especially the Italian steak house about a mile away.
The layout of the hotel felt a bit odd, making it tricky to navigate at times. During my stay, I found the breakfast selection lacking. I was hoping for more than just biscuits and gravy to kickstart my mornings. Additionally, issues like the elevator being out of order made hauling my bags up to the second floor a bit of a workout.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing
I had the best time staying in the King Room Non Smoking! The bed was incredibly soft, making it feel like I was floating on a cloud. Plus, the breakfast spread had some seriously delicious biscuits and gravy that gave me all the nostalgic vibes! Oh, and I can't get over the welcoming staff who genuinely made me feel like a VIP guest throughout my stay.

The beds were comfortable for a good night's sleep, and the in-room WiFi made it easy for us to plan our day. We loved that the hotel provided a complimentary breakfast, which made mornings with the kids hassle-free.
Some parts of the hotel layout were confusing.

We enjoyed our stay with the little ones. The spacious room accommodated our family well, and the convenient location made it easy to explore nearby attractions. The coffee machine in the lobby was a hit with everyone, especially after long days of fun.
In my wife’s opinion, a kids' play area would be great.

If you're a fan of fresh eats, you can't miss the nearby Shogun Steak House for some sizzling flavors. The breakfast spread at the hotel was a delightful surprise, offering variety to jumpstart your day!
Heads up, after dark it's best to keep your wheels moving. That Burger King next door? It goes to sleep early, so be sure to have your dinner plans locked down. Luckily, there’s Uber for any late-night cravings!

Rooms were clean and cozy. We loved the free breakfast, especially the coffee. Conveniently located near the Argosy Casino and just a short ride to the Wadlow Municipal Golf Course made for fun daytime activities. Make sure to plan meals ahead, though, since dining options around are limited after hours.
The hotel has a tricky layout and it's a little difficult to navigate around. It might take a minute to find your way, especially if you're tired from a day of exploring.
